During the last Electronic Security Exchange (ESX 2015) Conference and Exposition which took place in Baltimore, MD last June, Smartech Security announced that it had become ESA’s newest member. ESA or Electronic Security Association, which runs ESX every year, was established in 1948, and is the largest trade association representing the electronic life safety and security industry.
Member companies install, integrate and monitor intrusion and fire detection, video surveillance and electronic access control systems for commercial, residential, industrial and governmental clients.
In cooperation with an alliance of chartered chapters, ESA provides technical and management training, government advocacy and delivers information, advice, tools, and services that members use to grow their businesses and prosper.
Smartech Security through its CEO Roberto Miguel Larreal is also a member of ASIS International, which is the leading organization for security professionals worldwide. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics. ASIS also advocates the role and value of the security management profession to business, the media, government entities, and the public.
